The Story
Othello is a Moorish general in the Venetian army who has married Desdemona, a beautiful and virtuous Venetian woman. Desdemona's father, Brabantio, is enraged by the marriage and accuses Othello of witchcraft. However, Othello's loyal friend Iago, a cunning and manipulative villain, convinces Brabantio that Desdemona is truly in love with Othello.
